Welcome to JIRP at AGU 2024!
We are working to provide several avenues for JIRP alumni and prospective participants to meet each other and learn about how JIRP can add to a career in Earth science.
To be added to the alumni schedule for AGU, please fill out the form below.
We will publish a list of presentations by JIRP alumni before AGU begins. This will help us accomplish three goals:
Build alumni connections. Networking between alumni from different years at JIRP can help build professional connections and support the careers of young and early-career students and scientists.
Help focus JIRPers’ time at the conference. Large conferences can be overwhelming for anyone, but can be especially so for students and young alumni. We hope highlighting presentations connected to JIRP and/or JIRP alumni will help participants focus their time.
Provide insight for prospective participants. There will be prospective students and faculty in the crowd at AGU. Directing them to presentations by alumni can help them learn more about what a career involving JIRP can look like.

This location is a ~15 minute walk north of the convention center, or a 9-minute ride on the 79 Bus. We welcome all alumni and prospective participants to learn about what’s happening at JIRP and meet each other.
